Dear Uncle Al, Dot, Lester, and Janet:
My heart is broken for you. He was so young it doesn't seem possible for home to be gone.
I remember the time we were sneaking cigarettes from Dads box of cases of cameles in the closet. We stole a pack at a time so Dad wouldn't catch us. We told Kelly he was to young and wouldn't let him have one to smoke, so he went in to the closet opened a pack and took one cigarette out. Needless to say we got busted. He always wanted to be one of the group! Such fun memories. I never knew him as an adult and that is sad, but as a child he was a shining light.
Love you all and will pray for strength in this time of mourning, Dee

Kelly was my classmate and friend. He was a good athlete, tough and in shape in high school. He had a talent for basketball in particular. I admired his ability. As we grew older, Kelly and I had occasion to chat. He was a good-natured man. He had fun, laughed, pulled for his favorite teams, held many friends in high regard (and they him), and was loved by his wonderful family.Kelly got his big heart from them. I know he had many good times and enjoyed his life. Still, we don't get enough time here on earth. It seems especially so in Kelly's case. While he was here, he enjoyed it. I'll remember him most as someone who liked to joke around, and in particular, he had no problem ribbing me. He did it more than once for sure. But he always had a smile, both on his face, and in his eyes, when he did. He was always friendly, and had many good friends who are hurting now. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Rock On, Kelly.Let's go golfing when I get up there.....

Am truly sorry for your loss and for the whole town/county. Kelly was the kind of guy that everyone liked to be around and who contributed greatly to the meaning of the small community value's. His super smile could be seen a block away and his humor enjoyed by countless friends and family. Yes, we will definitely miss Kelly's uniqueness. I was lucky enough to take part in numerous sports-watching gathering's at our mutual friends' homes over the years. There were some rip-roaring, loud cheers at the NCAA men's march madness that nearly sent the roof into orbit. Please allow me to mention just a few of the characters who rubbed elbows with him over the years, always shaking his hand or giving him guff about something humorous: Taco, Barney Wolfe, Mike Howland, Ed Hill, Craig Jensen, Noah, Rockin', Clinger, Danny Barden, Dave Yearout to mention just a few. Kelly's presence and ability to get along with so very many people, made him a pretty COOL kinda guy. God bless him and may he rest in peace now, without the pain's from this sometimes unforgiving earth we try to live on. Thanks for playing in my foursome's at the golf course. Lester, Janet, Dot and extended family, I am so very, very sorry. Sincerely, Stormin'

Kelly's obituary is well written and a great representation of his life. I am so saddened he is no longer with us. He was a dear friend dating back to when he first joined the Class of 75 in Heyburn Elementary. He was my first love ❤️ interest, sparked on the playground there, but there was stiff competition from most of the other girls in our class.
My memories of Kelly ease the pain somewhat. I pray the same is true for his family and friends. I am relieved he is no longer suffering.
I may not be able to make his celebration of life due to a previous commitment but I will for sure be there in spirit.
Kelly will always be a treasured member of the Class of 75.
