The Freeburg farm was across the way from our farm. Tom was a year ahead of me at Tensed Elementary School and we shared the experience of riding a school bus from Desmet to Plummer as we attended high school. I was delighted when he started going out with Sandra Storms as well as to be a bridesmaid at their wedding. He always seemed to have a jolly personality which I am sure will be sorely missed by Sandra and their family.
