David was a great boss at the St. Maries Golf Course. I worked for him one or two summers in the late '70's. His teaching style gave us all the freedom to get things done in a timely manner and never rush thru a task that may result in some injury. Back then we had a half dozen kids out there, not only doing the regular chores but we planted a lot of extra trees, constructed tee boxes, organized the water features etc., and never felt any pressure from David. He had a really cool sense of humor and he and Karen let a couple of their children tag along beside us during those long, hot summer days. Seems like a dream now but we couldn't ask for a better man to team up with. I shall miss him, Karen and the kids and those beautiful sunrises that lit up the course each morning, with the gleam in Dave's eye's and the chuckle in his voice. Thanks for the memories, Mr. Kendall and to a job well done by your dedication. My sincerest condolences go out to the family and friends.
