Dad, it's been 31 years since we lost Joe, but I never stopped loving you and mom. You are both so near and dear to my heart.
I can't believe that you are gone, but I will never forget you and all the memories we made. Most people don't realize how bonded we became while learning how to take care of Joe. I know how deeply you love him and can imagine how your face lit up when you saw him again.
Love and prayers to Heide, Dirk & Sharon, and Butch. I am holding you close to my heart and up to God right now. He was a kind a patient man with a heart of gold, smile on his face, and a twinkle in his eyes. Love you all...D
