My deepest sorrow for Bill's loss. I considered him a valuable friend. He always gave me a laugh. His paintings were a huge surprise to me in his later years. Bev, I do hope you and your family are doing all right in the circumstances.

From the time I was a young boy, uncle Bill Linn became my favorite uncle. He took the time to let me tag along on hunting and fishing trips. I cherish the times we had together making our own bass plugs and tying flies. Anytime uncle Bill took up a new hobby, I had to do that too. Even into adulthood when Bill became an Extra Class Ham Radio Operator (mostly operating in "CW", Morse code), yes, I had to do that too. What a thrill it was when we first connected via Morse code, me in Arkansas and him in Idaho. His patience with me made me feel l was his equal, or almost anyway . In my book there will never be another like him. I so regret that I was unable to visit with him one last time before he passed on to a better place. Uncle Bill, I love you very much and so cherish our times together! Just to give you a heads up, when we meet again in heaven, I expect you to have scouted out a great trout stream or Bass lake for us. I'll bring my gear with me!

Beverly and ALL The Family there,
What a gift it was for Bill to come live with us when I was in elementary school! He was fun with a quick wit, and he sure helped keep our brother Danny happy in the woods and creeks and ponds, and playing basketball. They always brought home something that mother knew how to cook so that it was really good to eat! I think I drew the line when they dug a big pit in the ground back of the barn, to have a bbq, and decided possum, raccoon, armadillo, and who knows what else, would be good with the goat they started out with!
We were all happy when Bill married Beverly! We loved her mom already, because she was a sweet caterfia lady at the school and was so good to all the kids.
And when Bill and Beverly had kids of there own, I was so excited when they would visit because those little kids were so precious! I sure missed them all when they moved to Idaho.
My heart however has never let go of any of them and it flows into my eyes now as I write this, and the tears drop. No worry, I am sending these tears up in prayers to add a little puff of lift to the Spirt of Bill’s Eagles wings for his SOARING.
Much love to you all, Jeanie

Dad and Mom showed us all how we should live our lives and I am forever grateful for that everlasting gift. There are so many thoughts and feelings that it will take time to sort them out, but I have been the luckiest son alive to have a father like dad.
Forever in my heart.

Bill was always like a brother to me. In fact, I thought he WAS my brother until someone told me he was really my cousin. I remember when I was little that he and Danny would go off fishing and they would always come back with fish. How I wished I could be like them, the fish just liked them better.
When I was in Idaho cutting logs for Scott Brothers with Uncle Willard and Bill, they always took care of me. They made sure I had what I needed for my daughter Sylvia and my son Keith (who was born in the mountains of Idaho in Shoshone County near old Camp 40 past Clarkia). Beverly's mom always took care of me as well at Drew Central in the cateteria. She was always kind-hearted and considerate.
Billy, Debbie, and Betty Anne you are all so lucky to have had such good parents and grandparents. Even though I don't see you often I do think about you and please know that there are lots of people here in Arkansas that love you and care about you.
Sincerely,
David Chambers

Beverly, Debbie, Betty Anne, Billy and the kids,
Bill was like a brother to us. I remember that Danny was so excited to have a brother in the house again! I was just a part of God's plan and he found dear Beverly at Drew Central.
Such good memories of visits when you lived in Springdale, when we all were much younger! We are blessed to have had him in our family so long. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sister-Cousin, Margie
